Sorry to spoil the fun, but when other people pass who don't hand out sweets or pens or drinks, the kids throw stones at you. If you give them money, they will be kept from school to go begging. This is not an opinion, this is experiences, sadly.

Yeah it’s an interesting dynamic, and honestly, I’m not sure what is best. We had a few rocks thrown by bigger groups of kids indeed. I never give money though.
