Since the good Friday agreement in Ireland, there are not even lines on the road or welcome to signs on our borders. The only difference is road signs up north say mph and shops take £s. We have some village enclaves too. Before the late 90s they were all fenced off, and there were only a few border crossings. But now they opened the hundreds of roads that were there before we split. It's like being united without footing the bill for the North's budget deficit.
