Watching Big Joe is like a little kid that drives the daddy crazy until he gets what he wants. Its so adorable to watch you interact with him! Seriously your bisons are wonderful to watch you with them all. Especially when Big Joe gets to jumping while he chases you ! Thank you for the smiles. 🫢😉🫶🏻

Big Joe was being quite the turd that day. His personality is comical. He thinks he’s some sort of lap dog except his head alone is about all would fit on a lap. He is my favorite bison. Never a dull moment with him. And of course Princess Eleanor is another favorite. All the bison were loving the weather after all the mud. I’m so thrilled to see you all get that much needed rain and that it is getting absorbed too. I wish we could say the same here in Western/NW Iowa. We are still in full drought in most of the state. One major snowstorm with 13-15 inches of snow and it all melted the beginning of this month. Not looking great. However, I know God will provide. Hello to Marisa and Brooks!

Dusty when you were feeding cubes, the bison were running next to the beep beep like you are one of their kind. However the early shot showed a t-post was sticking out of the back coming really close to these precious animals. One bumps into another that bumps into that t-post and their side is opened like a knife. I know you love those critters and it wasn't on purpose so I thought I would tell you so you can be aware. Keep ranching bison. I appreciate it so much!!!

I know they have a pecking order among themselves, but just wondered if that also was applied at treat time… With these med cubes there will be a lot of pooping in the pasture. Wow! Doing that prescribed burn was pretty awesome, but also so scary for me to watch as a Californian who has lived through massive wildfires and been evacuated due to them. Too bad our more areas don’t do this when appropriate. Stay safe!!

Dusty, the medication is called Fen Benda zol That is how it is pronounced. Fenbendazole. It is prescribed for animals, tropical fish and humans.

We had a schedule of every 3 months with medicated feed on the Angus. It really worked for us. That was years ago and the Medication in the cubes were more effective than now.
