I get chills watching this scene. You would think it was a rock concert because of how loud the theatre got!!

To me, Rocket is the best character and my favorite. I have my own theory as to why. All of them make this scene and but here is why Rocket steals it.
Thor is there to avenge.
Rocket and Groot at this point just recently met Thor and who the Avengers are. Just learned about Thano's plan. They don't know earth and who is on it and who they are fighting and why. BUT, since they are Guardians of the Galaxy, they performed their duties, with many unknowns about. You can say Rocket should be titled an "avenger" bc of the death of ALL the GsOTG, but not an Avenger per say.
Not to mention his courage due to his size. For God's sake, the weapon is about his size and watching him run into the enemy with his tiny steps and over sized heart is amazing!!
Attention to orders.
While serving as a Guardian of the Galaxy Member, "CPT" Rocket performed selflessly in combat with great valor while putting the needs of others first. He brings great credit upon himself, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Universe.
