Which one of them is more formal? I would want to learn,please.Because you said that using of helping verb was is for a wish expression in modern english,right? But also i can use helping verb were for formal expression, can't i? 2. A wish expression example for the future: If only we your followers would be able to do face to face speaking practice with you on a live program on your this youtube channel. 3. A wish expression from the pass perfect tense: If only you hadn't laughed to me, when i tried speaking english with you.
