Small addendum I didn't catch; Staff can't be used with a free to play account, as you need SOTO to unlock the weapon proficiency even with the World VS World method. Whoopsies. So instead of me saying free to play, imagine I say "If you only own Secrets of the Obscure".

I enjoyed the video! When I made my videos trying out warrior staff, it was very much me trying a class that was "not my main", so it's really cool to see someone more fluent in warrior take it even further!

The reason why snowcrows uses mace mainhand on second weaponset is cause it does slightly more cc bar dmg on bosses but also grants you adrenaline (on mace 2s sweapskill) to make the overall rotation more fluit. But its also mantioned that you could indeed use dagger for stuff like boon remove ;)

I completely forgot about that adenaline boost on mace 2 honestly! I hardly really use it! Great point

I actually followed many staff warrior ideas and settled with a full Zealot's set with staff, but with zerker dagger and axe when needing to go DPS, and for CC i used a the citadel relic, and funny enough i felt on PVE solo I like to use core lines, while for fractals i will go with berserker lines, and in PVP i use another character using spellbreaker, but I feel Zealot is pretty viable especially doing burst healing, basically full healed super quick, only issue is stability

I can see going core for PvE because as much as I love berserker, it is definitely nonstop button pushing, sometimes I just wanna chill and watch a movie on my second monitor ya know!

For open world, I'm a big fan of full Diviner (+2 Harrier accessories) + Monk + Staff(concentration + renewal)/ gs(Concentration + strength) over dagger/warhorn. Strength 1-2-2, Discipline 2-3-3, Berz 1-2-1 warrior relic It's not as good for spot healing or support like these builds are, but you're essentially bursting constantly outside of staff 2 and 3 for boons (2s also real good to rage cap) and gs 2 And just the 400 or so HP from the 2 harriers pieces are enough to make the OP base heal numbers on staff carry people through open world content with the constant bursts

Excellent video, good sir! I am trying my damndest to get Warrior Staff Healer to work and have so far found that I can indeed do quite a bit of healing ... but the damage output is awful :( Also, the folk I play with are not in the slightest interested in stacking up and standing still so most of the time my heals only heal *me* as they are off running around and are not in the AoE.

Glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah even with full Berserker's gear on the damage output from the staff build I had was "Good" but definitely not great (I don't ARCDPS so I don't have hard numbers), so sacrificing to a heal focused gear build is probably lookin' real rough. As far as people not stacking...I mean...if they like dying they like dying LOL. I wish you the best of luck herding your cats into line

Ive found that Spellbreaker/Staff works really good in pvp, less so for open world, As a weapon to swap to even after the helaing nerfs, the blocks, aegis and sustain it brings (coupled with the already pretty good FC) makes for a great weapon to stall on for cooldowns or recover from being behind.

That makes perfect sense. I'm so out of practice and awful at PvP at this point that I wasn't even going to try to act like I could give a decent opinion on any PvP uses lol

I really like the Staff kit. Enjoying Warrior after not playing it for many years. For OW support, I am currently using full Zealots w/Fireworks runes, Relic of Dwayna, Accuracy+Water on staff, and Berserker Dagger/Axe w/Force+Accuracy. Tactics 2-3-2, Disc 2-3-1, Bers 1-2-1; Utils are Blood Reckoning, Shake it Off, For Great Justice, Wild Blow, Head Butt. This gives me 1137HP, so my heals are good. Only 25% boon duration, but Zealots lets me keep precision high whereas Harriers would not, so this seems to keep DPS decent. This seems to do quite well, and be pretty sturdy.

I really like that, thats a solid a build. Why blood reckoning, though? Just for increase zerking time? Or is it your preferred heal? I always used it because with a glass cannon build you can smash it and axe 5 and be invincible for a bit basically, but that seems unnecessary with this build!

@@syzxgamingx Blood Reckoning is there mostly for the recharge of burst skills and also somewhat for extending zerk mode. I'm still considering different options - this is just what seems to be working at the moment, as I get back into Warrior after so many years. :)

Healbreaker is great for PVP but bad for open world. As a warrior main I have enjoyed your content so I will subscribe to see more.

Not at this time, I'm mostly a PvE Player and haven't done PvP in a while, so I didn't feel like it would be an read accurate even if I did make one to test. Someone else in the comments mentioned that Staff Spellbreaker can be quite good in PvP, so maybe start there!

Staff makes spellbreaker so tanky in pvp and wvw. Basically replaced the shield. You can dive into a Zerg group and get out much easier now with the mobility, sustain, and dmg mitigation from staff.
