Thanks for all your useful information. I picked up a vortex diamondback tactical 6-24x50 for my savage mark two that I am putting together. Ordered 25 moa base. I need 30mm rings yet, any recommendations? Enjoy your channel 👍

Vortex has good options for scope rings. I was running a DBT in vortex rings for part of last season!

You can run either, but bolt is much more common

How long barrel do you recommend for a 10/22 ?

For the X22 series, I'd go with a 16-18" personally. But totally depends what you're doing with it

@@Womfat I want to try some 22lr matches, I know most people recommend to go with a bolt rifle but a 10/22 is what I have and find the rifle I want (Tikka or CZ) is basically imposible in USA now.

Shoot with what you got, a 10/22 will be a great rifle to learn the basics and get started
