Primal Queen of the Blades is exactly the type of lifeform that Xelnaga wanted as their successor. She has both, purity of form, power to hold psionic might, purity of essence, power to change. In fact, I think Zurvan also qualifies as he alsonuse psionic power in form of electricity. Hybrids are twisted form of Xelnaga as unlike Kerrigan, they merged through unnatural means. Zerg Swarm is also corrupted by Amon so they pretty much lost their purity of essence. Terrans show powerful psionic potential but other than few, they have not reached to psionic race yet. However, Overmind and Protoss did analyzed within few centuries, all the mankind will develop psychic powers so around that time, they will gain purity of form like Protoss.

Actually yes it would kill her. She didn't have the vast numbers or advanced evolution sequences like she's used to dealing with and the primal forces both outnumbered and out matched her current swarm. Not only that but she didn't want to kill too many primal zerg as her end goal was to convert them to her side. Her only option was to be unpredictable and fast.

Zerg are more dangerous than Tyranids though. Zerg move much faster in space as they evolved a method of FTL and like the Flood from Halo they steal strengths of other species to evolve and become stronger whereas yhe Tyranids merely adapt strengths

It is true that the Tyranid form is notable for their mastery of rapid adaptive evolution in response to threats, but it seems that you either forgot or were unaware of their similar ability to incorporate strains of their prey to develop new bioforms and adaptations. Tyrant Guards, Biovores and Zoanthropes being notable examples of new bioforms created, improved and varied upon through consumption of Astartes, Ork and Eldar genetics respectively.

They got the idea to corrupt her in the middle of drafting the Zerg scenario because they needed an anthropomorphic character

I disagree. I began to play Starcraft 1 when I was 7 years old. Then I played Starcraft Broodwar and soon after I played Starcraft 2. Starcraft 1's storyline was really good, the idea of a war between 2 races and the Terran coming in the middle of it. This 3 races war, the Terrans tearing apart in the civil war between the Confederation and Mengsk. Broodwar was cool. The idea of Earth coming was kinda standard but the way they managed to make Earth as basically an evil imperialist, military and authoritarian power was incredible. Then, we have Wings of Liberty, which is for me, the best part of Starcraft 2, the revolution of Raynor with the Hyperion, Horner, Swann and Stetmann (throw Tychus out of the airlock please) against the tyranny of Mengsk and his Dominion. That would be awesome if there wasn't.... yeah, this love story between Raynor and Kerrigan. Why do I have a problem with it ? Because it wasn't there. They were just friends and Raynor said himself he would kill her without hesitation if he was able to do it, actually she didn't love him, Raynor just found her pretty and they were friends BUT ONLY FRIENDS. The rest of Wings of Liberty was really good, without Raynor and Kerrigan. The only other point I was disappointed about, is that Horner made us reach Korhal with the Odin, but the Dominion was still there. It would have been far more interesting to see the Dominion collapsing planet by planet from Korhal to the rest of Terran space after that. Especially with the arrival of Valerian Mengsk, a character who I really enjoyed, but still, that was good. But Heart of the Swarm is... the worst of Starcraft 2 with Nova mission packs. A massive fuck you when you played Starcraft 1, WoL... Kerrigan becomes Zerg again, she's killing Warfield one of my favourite characters who I found really interesting, and she's talking like shit to Horner and Valerian Mengsk. They also tried to make the Zergs look like humans you know, and it was not very good. In the first game's Zerg campaign you're playing the bad guys of the story, the antagonist, and in the second game they made it otherwise, something that disappointed me too. Legacy of the Void was at least better than HotS, because the cutscenes are cool and Artanis fuck yeah, he always have been my favourite character and his evolution from a starfighters squadron chief in the first game to the hierarch of the remnants of the Protoss race is so well done. When I was young and saw him in the first game I knew he would become greater, but I didn't think he would go so far. It's even better. However the storyline is... meh. They are trying to tell us that it is the deadliest conflict the galaxy has ever known, but actually it felt epic yes, but not like an enormous hopeless war like in Mass Effect 3 (best video game ever made), there are massive mistakes in the storyline of LotV, but at least Starcraft is over, finally. After all, it was my opinion, you've got yours. It doesn't make Starcraft 2 a bad game, I can't say that because I grew with these games. But I think the first game was better.

It doesn't really invalidate WoL per se, but I feel a lot of its weaknesses is due to the reliance on Zeratul's prophecy. The entire plot lives and dies with it, and the fact that it foresees the QoB as the savior of the universe kind of takes away from the victory, because we already know that the reversion is going to happen.

Watch the LotV, she is still nth compare to a single hybrid, The hybrid would have ripped her apart if not for Artanis.

The process of depowering her in part helped remove Amon's influence, made her more sane. Mutating her again helped get rid of the rest yet still keep part of her human personality intact.

Tacgol It makes perfect sense, as the old Queen of Blades, she was created by Overmind in that way, so she was under strong influence of the Overmind, which is dead by now. But if it was still alive, it could influence her again, to use her as it see fit. Tis way could handled her Amon as well. By the help of naga Xzell artifact has been changed back to human and got rid of his strong influence. Then, when she morph again to zerg form, she became a Primal Zerg. She is even stronger than before, but she's her own master now without any influence. And it is impossible for anyone, to take control over her self.

So while everyone else is giving fan explanations, I thought I'd stop by and say. In WoL they achieved Raynors ambition of bringing back his friend and romantic interest. However the Queen of Blades is just so much more awesome, so in HotS they decided to make her zerg again. that's what really happened, the queen of blades version of kerrigan is just more popular.

I'm not an expert on the lore, but I doubt there's something regarding this in it. That being said: Kerrigan's spiked right shoulder might just be an aesthetic choice by Blizzard, although there could have been more reasoning behind it. In close quarters combat with edged weapons such as blades/claws etc., it can be beneficial to have additional protections (or any protection at all as opposed to none) on one arm to block incoming attacks with, for the sake of keeping your other arm- presumably your stronger arm, your strike arm- free of burdensome additional weight to counterattack with. For instance armor designs that are "lopsided" like this occured in medieval warfare all the time. It could be inspired by the concept of sword arm/shield arm. Could be.
