This song is unbelievably on point with respect to my life. I was an addict, have since kicked it, went to seminary, was ordained a Deacon, and my family still refuses to let go. I've needed their help recently due to disability, but just had an 8 hour surgery last week that will allow me to go "where no one knows my name," which I've already established as my destination following my surgical recovery in a year or so. Christians need to understand the devastating effects that substances leave behind for those of us stricken by addiction and usually left alone to battle daily with no support, plus ongoing spiritual warfare. It's time to break the cycle of unforgiveness and start a new family chapter, hopefully for many more than just mine

But, two things I’ve learned about dark places - They don’t last forever, and music is always the best medicine. 😉 I’m honored that my music could be the pain pill in this moment in your life. Keep pressing! You will find your way out. When I’m there myself, which is more often than I’d like to admit, I find if I can just keep my gaze on God and just put one foot in front of the other, eventually I’m miles away from the dark places I once dreaded. And every time I turn to look back, I’m thankful for that dark place, because I came out stronger and learned something else to carry with me the next time the lights go out. God bless Lisa! 🤟🏽🔥

Awesome video and awesome song!!! Couldn’t have been done by a better artist. My husband is the soul provider for our family and he gives his all and then some for us. It’s so amazing for a song and video to show the efforts that people go through to make ends meet. The sacrifices that he has made to make life better for our family and the sacrifices we have made for him. It means a lot that this would seem to recognize all that he does for us. Discovered this song in last year summer 2022, out of town for work, leaving on the high rise condo in the west, looking at the the entire city and the Rocky Mountains, working 58 hours a week, going out and enjoying life as if I forgot where when who and what was going on at the moment! Would love signed copy but fighting for my son in rough situation and had to petition and drive 2hundred miles just to be shut down and belittled by a state that will never acknowledge my progress but you guys give me hope. Thanks bro. Wife and I go fri to get full custody. God is Good. I am far from perfect and a huge reason why I can relate and am inspired by you and others but I have come a long way. Still have many trials and mountains to conquer but as I support you and those alike, appreciate the support as well. There are a lot of things that get overlooked in this world now days that are so important. Such as my 4yr old not knowing one letter of alphabet because others decided to stay focused on things of little importance. On our youtube is vid after my wife worked with him for four days. My brother, your music affects me. I have noticed the layering of your music, man. At first it was just the "beats and shouting" as they say in a good movie. But then I got busy and did an old study hall trick on your lyrics. Substitute out key words with synonymous others, and see where it goes from there. You're an impressive thinker, my friend. It's refreshing to see/hear from a modern artist a planned sensory experience. Just wondering how old you are? 'Cause for most of your contemporaries it's all about the money. I just wanted to say this hit on so many levels to me. Then even went to a whole new level with the disabled yet beautiful portrayal. If anyone hates on this then they are attention seeking selfless individuals that needs a karma effect in their life. The feel and words in this song depict a real and true reality. years ago... while working in a jail..I watched a doc called "Crackheads Gone Wild" and was haunted by the music. The words (to Cocaine) spoke to damb near every one of the long term inmates who were dealing with addiction issues, especially one specific drug. The music was raw, honest, just simply awesome and I became a fan that day. I played it for many on the intercom systems because it was so powerful I knew it would be appreciated not just by me but by our population as well. You have a gift..I have been a fan ever since. watched your talent explore and expand on your trip to Russia and that adventure for you. You are an amazing..your new stuff blows me away just like I was blown away years ago in another life time..with two feet spaced in two different worlds at the same time trying to balance it all.. thank you..

Reminds me of someone I used to know. He has talent to. But to scared to show it not sure if he ever pursued his passion in the music. But he reminds that no matter how scared or whatever the reason might be. We still need to pursue your dreams.u never know what impact u might have on helping someone else along the way to pursue there dreams. One simple hello or smile could save someone's life music saved mine. So thanks again mad respect
