I've literally been wronged by every single person I've ever cared about in alot of bad ways. I've been so mentally fucked by people that I don't trust anyone & I'm not sure that I ever will and that makes me feel so lost, broken, & alone.

I heard that. Family seems to be the worst critics and can rip you to shreds faster than anyone else. Our hearts are more involved therefore, vulnerable. We develop these "thorns" after awhile. Whether the silent typeornot when it's our hearts talking we tend to be the most vicious it seems. I can personally attest to adopting or taking on "multiple personalities" that act like chameleons and jump out as needed. As people became less involved, more critical, and then totally cold and menacing towards me I can see how I needed to do this as a tourniquet for my bleeding heart. A tab team of sorts. I was so gullible and trusting yet knowing deep down the folks had no good intentions toward me Yet I did it anyway. I gave anyway. I wasted time, resourced, a Brain power. Beating a dead horse. Because no matter what you know, folks is gonna play stupid thinking you are enough thay you'll just keep right on deep throatin those worms they feed you. I've had to realize my own pa rt and ignorance in allowing the ones worried about it to tak up space in my head and that make me second guess myself. At 48, I can smell a bullshit lie before they open their mouth to feed it to me. Bottomline, empathy are better off when they're content with their own company. And have a purpose or goal or vision to attain to. We think too fast and miss alot but later once we digest something, we gotta make sure it's truth before we speak it So sticks and stone might crack some bones but ignorance and lies will kill ya.
