Ruth Simika is one of the iconic actresses in Malawi, having featured in the popular Tikuferanji TV Series on MBCTV. She has however also feature in other radio and television plays like Sewere la Sabata ino on MBC and has featured on many stage plays. Her calm demeanor and charm draws many to like her. She is a gifted actress who is able to weave in and out of different characters. She opens up about how she feels the arts industry has treated her, saying she has not benefited from the profession. She says despite getting a lot of attention and adoring looks from her fans and others, she has nothing to show for it. She appeals to the authorities to do something about the arts industry.

This is a very touching cruise 5 story. "Do not judge the book by its cover". Let this country review this industry and reverse things by recognizing the 47 experienced woman in this industry and do something again to this well spoken woman as she has availed the hidden agendas requiring to be corrected accordingly. Immediate support in this regard will prevent this talent and breed more unprivileged to come in the open.
