Cruise ship in Pandemic lay up - A very special and spooky sight
In this video you will see the creepy strange inside of a cruise ship that was stopped from traffic for 3 years, because of the Covid19 Pandemic.
Everything is covered up and stowed away.
There is almost no crewmembers onboard, only what is necessary to keep the ship afloat.
On the end you see a safety drill that the crew still perform for safety.
There is almost no sound on this video, and that is because there is no sound there. I wanted to capture the strange soundless atmosphere onboard for you to see.

Actually I’d prefer a cruise ship like this. The pandemic taught me that crowds really suck😂

This has to be a spirit class cruise ship right? That layout is SO familiar! One of the Costa ones... Costa Atlantica??

I have a 67 metre barge cruiser, it has 3 decks and l have been alone on it for almost 4 years, the 2019 season was cancelled and it was too late to do '22 season, moored in a back water in Belgium it never moves much but there are noises sometimes with seagulls walking on the solarium roof which is glass in the centre part. In February '19 i filled the diesel tanks with 16 tons of fuel which has now doubled its price and still has over half a tank left.............the only profit made from covid.

I really feel sorry for you man. I travel around as a technitian on alot of ships seeing what devastating effect the lockdown has had on some of them. Crew is walking around like zombies and has completely lost their mind. Hope you will bloom again next season!! Good luck!!

Wow, have you gotten off at all? It must be peaceful if you are all alone though, and you can catch up on other things to do in a short time I would think compared to 4 years! Jeez!

@@f-j-Services We are up and running this year, l have 11 others with me now and we have our first cruise 6th June into Germany. Apart from some female visitors and the mechanic once a month l been alone.
