How fun! How Beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing. I doubt I'll ever see these things for myself, so I don't mind looking at someone else's holidays pictures (and videos). And if I ever do travel, I'll know not to take too many crafts. I'll probably do it any way, but I will have been forewarned! 😄

I love seeing your cruise photos, and hearing about it! And I wouldn't expect a lot of crafting to get done when you have all the sightseeing and activities. It looks like a great time.

Yeah my expectations were all over the place really, it was such a completely different type of holiday to anything I've done before. Still, will be able to go into the next one way better prepared, which definitely includes taking more jackets and cardigans because those ships get COLD inside.

It was so far out of my comfort zone for like one day, and then by day three I never wanted to set foot on dry land ever again 😂

One thing to note when on a cruise - when you go on the official tours, if you are late back for any reason the boat will wait for you, if you go off on your own and you are late back then the boat will not wait and you could end up stranded!

Yes, the peace of mind was definitely a big deal especially when we were driving around tiny mountain roads that would be terrible to break down on 😅

Yay cruising!! When I went on my first cruise, I thought I would hate it. Many cruises later, I can say I definitely don't hate it. 😊 Before kids, we did Carnival. Since kids, we've done two Royal Caribbean cruises (to the Caribbean) and have another booked. They do try to nickel and dime you quite a lot, but we never bite and still have a great time. Glad you had such a great time. Official excursions are definitely safer because (1) if they are late, the ship will wait for you and (2) if they cancel the stop, you'll get your money back (ask me how I know, lol). So, I guess the question is, when is your next cruise? 😉

I went on my first cruise this year. We went from Miami to Nassau. So much Beaty all around that I didn’t craft at all. Thanks for sharing your cruise with us. It looked amazing and fun.

That's exactly it, I think it's because the scenery is always changing as well even when you have downtime you naturally want to spend it watching the world go by and not miss anything. Hope you loved your first cruise as much as I did mine :)

Thank you for sharing your cruise. I went on independence of the seas with royal Caribbean a couple of years ago and it was amazing! I’m glad you seemed to enjoy it as much as I did 😊

Cruise buddies! Have you been with any other lines or is that your only one? I kinda want to try a cheaper one where maybe the staff are a bit less intense and don't agressively use your name at you 😅

@@TheGiddyStitcher No I haven’t. I want to try other cruises though. I work right next to the cruise terminal in Liverpool and I constantly see different ships and they look amazing!

@@blueheartcrochet14 Yeah I remember when we were there last year our hotel room was looking down over the river and I was fantasising about being on one of those. Think Fred Olsen go from there a lot, I want to try them one day!

Cruise week! 🎉 I'm really curious about your experience with the cruise capsule wardrobe :D I spotted some gorgeous pieces 😏 But were there items you missed or didn't wear at all?

There was one skirt and one top that didn't end up being worn, but if we'd been there a couple more days those would've had their time to shine too. Everything else got at least one showing. The only thing that was really missing was something a bit warmer, I'd imagined when the ship was docked it would be calm and warm out on deck but in reality it was very windy some days even without the ship moving, and then at night the AC indoors was really cranked up so it got quite chilly!
