I'm way too late but for anyone who will read this and get confused: it was the lump on his cheek, which was causing discomfort for man. After demons took it away, he told about it to a neighbor who looked exactly like him and had lump too. He tried to go the demon party and dance too, but angered the demons and they've sticked the lump they took away from the first guy to his face, leaving him with two lumps on both cheeks for the rest of his life.

My theory: When Asirpa says she saw a dick at the beach (and was unimpressed), it's referencing when Sugimoto jumped off the boat naked to rescue Henmi in episode 9.

It has most of the Gintama actors in it. The primary "villain" is Hochu Otsuka, Sugita is in it as the insane twins, there is a lot of overlap especially in the humor.

The interesting thing about Anime is you cannot be always certain if they are serious. Golden Kamuy was for me a interesting watch since it was during a really interesting time period. After that I learned alot of the facts from that period.

For anyone interested: Ushiyama > Tanigaki > Boutarou > Kiroranke > Kikuta > Ariko > Ienaga > Vasily > Nihei > Lightning Bandit > Tsukishima > Tsurumi Sugimoto, Ogata, Usami, Hijikata, and Koito are all average-sized, while Shiraishi is slightly smaller than average
