Ogres are not actually that dumb in Warhammer, they are instinctively good traders. They can tell a good deal, and love riches only slightly less than meat. This is exactly why they do mercenary work. That and the meat of the fallen. So its actually ENTIRELY an Ogre move to trade cities with another faction. Also it helps if you make a deal with Ogres and try to not keep your end that they come and eat you.

@@trazyntheinfinite9895Greasus starting position is arguably bad since you surounded by undead/nurgle south, dawizhar west, kholek and grimgor north (most of the time they don't even kill each other and grimgor go straight for you first) and Cathay east. You have a large area to secure in montains while not having tuneling or similar capability. If you not start trades early with the dawizhar or and cathay you won't even leave long enough to sustain a good standing army. The roster is alright but a bit weaker than it should be because of bad damage animation of the ogres bulls and similar. They blunt and can get away with a few slooy battles but very badly geared compared to other factions.

I like how almost every Ogre Kingdoms video I watch that show off a siege always bash their troops at the gate when every ogre unit can attack walls and create more openings than just the front gate! Great video regardless. Ogre Bois leesssgggoooooo!

Ogres are so fun the only thing is they need to be able to move camps but with the downside of it lowering main settlement 1 tier or something so its not just some unstoppable wave of moving camps and you can only move camps once every 25 turns or something

@@notabcdave I gotchu fam. Cathay was the first faction I played when the game was released and that was like the first tidbit of information I picked up on. I think people really want to play as the emperor but he’s supposed to be at the level of some of the greater gods.

@@turboturkey7236The Emperor and his wife are actually incredibly powerful dragons, and were one of the few dragons not slumbering after the arrival of the old ones (creators of every race on the planet). They literally just sit up in the air above Wei-Jin and let their 3 kids run the empire that was created by the men who revered them for their power. (also, that’s why the kids can turn into dragons.)
