Imo I think Kazuya and Sumi are pretty cute together. I like Mizuhara and all, but sometimes I think he should just ditch her and go for Sumi instead (probably won’t happen though)

The only time we viewers actually like Kazuya is when he’s with Sumi. For me at least I can stand him in English dub cause he shares the same VA as Zenitsu from Demon Slayer.

I know it's not gonna happen because Kazuya has tunnel vision for Chizuru but man I wish it would end with him being with Sumi. He's so much more bearable when hes with her and she's not creepy, stalker, rude or manipulative with him at all like the other girls. And he acts way more mature and less obnoxious and insufferable around her.

Well I would put a good amount of blame on Chizuru's and Ruka's antics for dragging Kazuya to an even deeper level than he was before. Chizuru's still pulling the "Investigating her feelings." shit and Ruka's just insane.

There are two characters I love: the universally loved Sumi and Mini Yaeomori. I am thinking of writing a romance fan-fiction about them. It is hinted in the manga that Sumi may be bi (ironically enough it is possible Mizuhara is one too).

Kazuya is overhated. Mami and Ruka are way worse than Kazuya and Chizuru is just as bad if not worse with her lack of communication/clarity on how deep her feelings actually are for Kazuya e.g trying to kiss him while he was passed out in chapter 254. I think it's also evident that he isn't as bad as he perceives himself like whenever we see him from other characters perspectives like in the Sumi spinoff or recently at the end of chapter 264 compared to chapter 263 when Mami thinks back on her little date with Kazuya.
