It's crazy how a person that I didn't know or hear about until his passing had such a profound effect on me. I'm just fascinated by him His lyrics. His artistry. The depth of his mind and soul. The deeper understanding he seemed to have of all things. I strive to be more like mac as a person. In this crazy chaotic world where its see easy to be and feel lost and feel like you have no purpose or no meaning. Mac helped so much we with that shit. Just tryna figure out who the fuck you are what's life about and living it. Its indescribable, we rarely come across beings such as this on this earth. Just absolutely genuine in their flaws and all. Someone here to help. Someone here to heal. Someone with a truly bigger purpose. And he did it. But now he's gone. And were all here trying to wrap our heads around it. Trying to heal our hearts from the pain of no longer having thisboerson that made us all feel so connected so conscious so aware which made us feel so great. I bet everyone one of us while sitting there jamming along to the tracks feel like its or like you've had a conversation with mac through his tracks. It's crazy. One love.

I love to hear this, I’ve always loved Mac hes the first celebrity I cried when I heard he died because I knew how special this man was.... it’s crazy you didn’t know about him then, but I love to hear this so much because I think there are a lot of ppl like you just figuring his genius and greatness and special spirit out. I think that so many more ppl will think of him as a Kurt kobain or a Jim Morrison or a John Lennon type even. His legend will continue to grow,as it should, and that makes me happier than anything I’ve heard in a while.

Why God speed? That seems odd to cry to. The perfect circle part?
@jacobcourseymusic6414
@jacobcourseymusic6414 3 жыл бұрын
@@Zach-Fetters the second half of perfect circle. He literally basically predicted his death. He says in Godspeed how he needs to clean up his act “wake up before the morning I don’t wake up. You make your mistakes your mistakes never make ya” and saying how he’s gonna OD and he doesn’t want his mother to cry. And then he ends it saying “tell my baby I love her, and if I get the chance I’ll put a seed inside her, make her a mother” It’s eerie how accurately he puts it saying that he’s gonna die soon from an overdose.

And mac is so much smarter than people give him credit for..... he's not just some drugged out stupid funny white boy rapper... he's a genius musical producer and artist. him talking about the format of the song Weekend and how the verses contrast with the hook of the song.. some people just can't realize that. Those people shouldn't be listening to mac/hip hop in general because the ones who can't interpret lyrics are the same ones who criticize music all the time

when you feel something so strong artistically you live in that body of creativity the lines get blurred between reality and creativity, I see mac in some parts going into that space of creativity and found it hard to translate that verbally. his appreciation for other artists and positive energy shows he was concious of his role in music, "the worlds fucked up...it sucks but i think it's not a bad idea to make music that inspires people". a creative spirit constantly evolves, sometimes tumultuous, sometimes breaking through to another layer. macs spirit will live on for my kids to appreciate, i appreciate his music.

onaqtip Hey just wanted to tell you that you hit the nail on the head with your comment about Mac. I’m a Journalist and I can see that you are a skilled writer and an intelligent person. I noticed how well you articulated your thoughts and opinions into writing. Idk if you write music lyrics, if u write in general or if you plan on writing more often in the future, but I believe you could do something great with it by the way you choose ur words and put them together. And one thing out of the many things that Mac taught Me is to always believe..in my craft, in my vision and most importantly in myself.... So just throwing a compliment and some motivation your way. Have a great day. RiP Mac Miller the kidddddd! #MostDope

Mac is a legend and a genius , every thing he created was greatness, I grew up with him and his music made me feel like we grew up together and experienced life and ended up with demons as big as a house, or never felt alive and found that drugs made us feel alive and ignore all the pain that we experienced, my only regret in life is not meeting him and telling him how much his music means to me and how he saved my life!!! Best believe I’ll be finding him after this life I live is done in over!! Until we meet Mac!! RIP malcom you we loved and respected by so many and your genuine soul touched so many !!! I can’t wait for the day I can tell you how grateful I am I got to grow up listening to your beautiful music! And you helped me thru my addiction my depression, my divorce and just life daily ! Everyday I will play your music till I turn blue RIP

Good point at the end, and it's almost universal for everyone who's been successful one point in their lives. Mac Miller in my eyes will be one of those rappers you remember and think, "yeah, that dude was one of the REAL ones." Dude fucking brought vince stapes outta the slums because people didn't wanna fuck with him and give vince beats. Mac literally just throws him royalty free beats because Mac saw talent in Vince. Vince to me is a fucking mini-snoop with his ethos screaming North Side Long Beach (2015 BET cypher reference), I'm glad he was somewhat instrumental with his musical upbringing (outside of the obv Odd Future come up). Mac is just a fucking good dude. Hope he just keeps on living in the moment, stay away from the NapBoyz drugs and he should be all G for the rest of his musical legacy.

Maybe it's me over thinking but In my teen years I had a friend pass away at a young age of 17. I remember before he passed he would say cryptic things that just didn't make sense, What he kept saying during private moments gave me the feeling that he felt or knew he wouldn't live long. It would leave me completely speechless. I would say "hey why would you say that bro?". Then he'd leave me with a moral message of some sort like "respect your parents, they really are good parents, they set boundaries and take great care of you". We were teens still living at home, his parents let him drink and smoke do basically whatever he wanted, we all thought he was so lucky. My friend died in a car accident Christmas morning which also killed his sister's boyfriend... To this day I'm haunted by the cryptic messages. He literally said he wouldn't live long, but don't tell anybody, it's something he knew and that he had accepted it. I kept saying "no bro come on, don't say that", but I could feel something in the air, in my heart, and I believed he was being honest. The feeling that popped up in my head when he said it was belief that I couldn't understand. Then later that year, he actually died by accident in a car, nothing intentional, it was an accidental death. So how could that be?. Sorry to answer your question with a question, but that's all I know.
