I will always say it "it's okay not to be okay" is the most healing kdrama i have ever watched, and no matter how many times i have watched this series it still put a huge impact on me. This really is the most healing media, I've ever watched. Even though I've seen Sang-Tae reading his book to his mom 10 times, I'm still balling my eyes out. Oh Jung Se has done such a phenomenal job in portraying this character. For the next series I'd suggest Thirty-nine. It's a story about three thirty-nine year old women who deal with topics like cancer and adoption. It feels so real because it just shows us how they deal with these topics in their every day life. It's only 12 episodes but I cried in every one of them. Yes it's often sad, but somehow also much about healing, family, relationships and friendships. Seeing people loving, caring and standing up for each other is so beautiful. Edit: Btw thanks for all your insights. I really enjoyed hearing your comments alongside this story!

Me too. I think this is my favorite KDrama so far. The story is well written. It’s funny and heartbreaking and so deep and layered. The acting is phenomenal too. The actor who played GangTae wasn’t scripted to be crying when SangTae was reading to the tree, but the acting was so good that he actually cried.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned daily dose of sunshine but I really enjoyed that drama cause it also took into account not only the mental health of patients but of the doctors and nurses who take care of them

You should give a try to "extraordinary attorney woo" as you liked sang tae and the director of the hospital. Another great series with more eye candies and an amazing plot and interesting characters.

Loved you're reaction to this series. Another one I that would be awesome to see you're thought on is Twinkling Watermelon. Amazingly heartwarming funny story that follows someone with 2 deaf parents and learning to understand them and grow into his own person. Don't want to give too much away best to go in blind but it's so very good

I loved watching your reactions to this! Another drama that I would highly recommend reacting to is Flower of Evil, fantastic drama in the same tier and I think you will really enjoy it!

I would highly recommend Itaewon class! Its also a journey. One of the leads there have a sociopath tendency. And that Kdrama is such a an amazing Kdrama. Its not the usual Revenge Kdrama bcs of its characters. You'll see how every character growth especially the Female Lead character. And also the journey of life of Main Male character. The characters are one of the reasons to watch because they not the usual "perfect" Leads character that the show usually portray. youll get annoyed by them at times but thats bcs they human. They're relatable. It also tackles a lot of social issues like Gender, Social standards/class, Racism, friendship. Love. Also Flower of evil too! It also involves mental illness there.

The lovely mother in this drama was also in the drama that I recommended above
