26:50 if you're more interested in what happens in the military and especially queer people in the military, I'd highly recommend the kdrama D.P. It deals with a lot of heavy issues, but it's so important in showing the abuse that goes on there. There's an episode dedicated to a gay man, he's a drag queen who deserted and is being pursued. Every episode is amazing albeit gutwrenching.

Since the show takes place over such a short amount of time and we're only seeing so little into their time on the show, I'm not going to hate on or completely dislike any contestants of course. Seonwoo clearly is kind and he's friends with everyone to this day, so he's obviously not a bad guy. I don't perceive him as a bad guy either - that being said, there's certain things about him that irk me. He had some green flag moments this episode, but then also red flags. He wants to be liked and have the attention on himself, which is understandable since it's a dating show lol, but he fails to reciprocate it. He says he doesn't feel certain about Seungho, but then he states he wants Seungho to be certain about him. It's unfair for him to put that expectation on Seungho, and it's clear the only reason he's been paying more attention to Seungho now is because of Junseong. In all honesty, I don't think Seonwoo would be giving as much time to Seungho if it weren't for the rivalry. I just feel like this episode specifically, Seungho finally started moving on and focusing more on Junseong, and good for him, because if he'd continued pursuing Seonwoo I don't see a good outcome.

gosh this episode was a sob fest😭 I felt Junseong's story deep in my sole... he was only 16/17 (18 in korean age). I'm glad him and his mother have made up now, as you can see in his latest vlog, but it's still heartbreaking thinking of him finding his letters and pictures all torn apart and throw away.

I'm super late to this party but I'm really loving your content. One of the things that has always struck me about this song is the use of the word "astray" because, alongside the meanings that you already referenced, it can also be heard as "a stray" as in their name and as in this large community they've built with people who feel out of place in the world. Stray people don't feel like they belong anywhere and I feel like these artists truly understand what that feels like so they insist on making people feel seen and heard and understood. So just continuing on the road, even if it's dark and lonely, will inevitably lead you to find your community.

No, I'm sorry. I respect yours and others' opinions obv, there are many different ways to look at everything that happens in this series, but this episode absolutely destroyed Thua's character for me. I understand what Thua wanted to do, but I will never forgive him for how he went about everything and the way he had little to no remorse for any of his actions. There were so many better ways to go, or even if he outed Akk's actions and not his relationship (and with that his sexuality) it would be so much easier to be okay with everything. To me, the second he outed them, and then didn't take accountability for his own "curse" actions, there was absolutely no way I would ever enjoy his character. Maybe it's just because I'm severely biased towards Akk, and we as in audience are more aware of his fragile state of mind, but I've just always thought they were supposed to be friends (I mean, Akk invited him to his parents' place), so when Thua stabbed them all in the back like that without at least talking to Akk/Ayan/both first, I was flabbergasted. Also what he said about Ayan protecting Akk wasn't even true, at least not in the way he meant it, because he still wanted Akk to tell the truth but knew that he was already suffering so he wanted to wait until Akk was more stable. It's just Thua didn't know this because he decided everything for himself (came to his own conclusions) and didn't even think to ask AkkAyan about this directly. Also also, Akk, who came from a lower-income position, was manipulated by a scary man in authority (who was holding his scholastic future over his head) into doing the bad stuff he did, Thua was not. From what we know, he comes from a more privileged background, so he didn't have as much to lose, and he knew exactly what he was doing the whole time! Plus, even despite all this, he tried to run off the second he could and only came clean about everything he did once Ayan called him out! He's so hypocritical it's insane! Also the way he acts all innocent in all the episodes before where he's the "new curse" boils my blood. I feel like I will forever hate him, and even every time I rewatch my stance on him has never changed. Wow, sorry for the rant, I just have a lot to say about Thua ig 😅 (I do also want to reiterate that I respect others' opinions, if he's your fav then that's fine with me, I will just never understand it and that's okay)

Definitely one of the best series I have ever watched. It tackled so many topics and the story was cohesive. Indeed a journey - a beautiful one.
