Synchronous motor me hum rotor me dc current dete hai because for locking the rotor with rotating magnetic field .we rotate the rotor at 90% speed to lock with rotating magnetic field. When the rotor is locked with RMF we stop the dc current supply given to rotor. This is known as synchronous speed. Thanku sir . Itna hi yaad aa raha😋

We know that a synchronous motor is not a self starting machine. This is because when the armature (stator) of the synchronous motor is connected to the three phase supply, a rotating magnetic field is produced in it which rotates at synchronous speed while the rotor is in static position.

To get a clear idea about the question “why a synchronous motor is not self-starting?” consider a rotating magnetic field as equivalent to the physical rotation of two stator poles N1 and S1. Assume any instant like that two poles are in line with the stator magnetic axis [A-B]. At this instant, rotor poles are arbitrarily positioned. When DC supply is given to stationary rotor unlike poles will try to attract each other. Because of this action, the rotor will be subjected to an instantaneous torque in an anticlockwise direction. As we connected the power supply to the stator, the stator poles will rotate at speed of Ns rpm.

Induction Motor mai Rotor par koi magnet hi hoti hai usme stator mai Phle RMF generate hota hai baad mai rotor mai RMFthen rotor follow stator.. but BLDC mai hme permanent magnet kai according stator winding ko energize krna hota hai to magnet ki posoition ke liye controller ki jrurat padti hai

Synchronous motor ke router me permanent magnate hota hai or stater me jo rotating magnatic field banta hai wo 50 round/sec hota hai jaise hi router hilne ki kosis karta hai waise hi starter ka magnatic field change Ho jata hai isliye self start nahi ho pata hai. Isko Start karne ke liye alag se starter motor ki jarurat hoti hai jo use synchronous speed me la deti hai.

synchronus motor needs proper 3phase communication signal to work at high speed a rocket engine needs, also it needs a proper power source which is not efficient in cryogenic engine..

Due to high inertia...rotor can't reach the synchronous speed at starting....so we have to rotate the rotor at near the synch.speed

Synchronous motor ka jo rotar hota hai na wo dc suply se connect karane ke baad hi apna back EMF paida karata hai . Lekin stator main 3 phase ac suply aati hai wo to rotar ko ghumane kaa prayaash karati hai lekin rotar open circuit hone ki wajah se apna EMF paida nahin kar pata . Isliye synchronous motor self starting nahin hoti hai. Unhe start karane ke liye rotar ko dc suply se connect Kiya jata hai taaki usamain North - south pole ban sake.

Synchronous motor me two coiling hota hai. Ac current creat rotating electric magnetic fields. When second coil me jab current pass kar te hai . Make south or north pole each other in coil first or second. Then electric magnetic fields convert into ration. Thats why which not self starting
