What about for number of available cryptos? Bitget doesnt have LCX or AIOZ, for example. Fees suck but its not the only thing to look at.

Their etransfer is slowest and most confusing thing. First two deposits took minutes and now its been 1day and nothing even tho they received it.

E-transfer for CDN to Kraken takes about 1-5 minutes for me. In one year of using it (roughly 30 transfers of around $700-$1200 each) I've never experience more than 5 minutes of transfer time.

Yea pretty much. Bitbuy used to do that too. Would charge 1.5% just to fund one’s account.

@@cryptoforcanadians It seems Kraken Pro's trading spreads are much lower which makes their overall fees the 2nd cheapest, after NDAX. I only want to buy bitcoin and then hold it in my own hardware wallet for a long time. So I'm looking for the best exchange to do that.

I've never tried that before but my guess is that there will be fees attached to that. I remember a while ago when I would send wire transfers from USD into my USD account in Canada, I'd get charged a whole bunch of fees. I assume that it'll still be the same.

How are they much cheaper? The fees are from Kraken Pro: Source: www.kraken.com/features/fee-schedule Let's do a break down. Deposit = 0.5% Maker = 0.25% Taker = 0.4% Cash withdrawal = $10 That said, you're better off using another exchange from here: www.cryptoforcanadians.ca/trading-crypto

Kraken is great until they freeze your account and give no reason for doing so. I wouldn't ever use them again.

What a scam. They should just let you transfer your cad to usd like questrade without a fee. They keep it like this on purpose. CDC has the same bs
