8 years later with a remaster for better textures that this days hardware can afford, and this game is simply beautiful again, visually holding itself up against all other recent releases.
Crysis is all about a fancy smart.."tactical-combo armor nanosuit". A smart armor that gives you futuristic features like getting super strong or invisible.
BUT...the tech needs energy and energy doesn't last long before it needs to recharge making you time your moves.
Some might argue that playing a FPS shooter using a game-feature that makes you invisible is not really playing a shooter. Well, then go F* you...no, sorry, I mean then go play something else because you don't really get what Crysis is about.
Go stealth, go armor-mode, hide in bushes (don't do nasty stuff there) and play wise. Make a plan, have tactics, scan the environment carefully and pay attention to your enemies before going in the middle hoping you'd be immortal.
After all, this game is so rich in details and context, with random punch-lines from enemies that would be a waste to just Rambo in all your way through it.
