Even with NHIF, unemployed person was paying as low as ksh360. Were they not covered? Why were services denied yet you are insured? Does that mean NHIF didn't manage funds properly as an insurance organization?

How does SHIF encourage me to wash my hands and visit the hospital for check ups? Why should I be forced to carry the burden of someone who is not working yet they contributed Ksh360? Is it possible to help everyone really as an individual? We are living in the world where you have to work on the land for you to live, and strive to succeed. It is known to public that high mortality rate for children under 5 years occurred in the unfortunate low income or poor families . Unfortunately the low income or poor families are unfortunately poverty is one of the main reasons. With high taxes this government is pushing lot's & lot's of people to poverty and subsequent risks of evil caused by poverty. Eg. Unhealthy living. SHIF is not helping much or will not help much if more million's of Kenyans are driven to poverty and poverty created health issues. Solve the route cause first. Stop the over taxation , reduce the health issues & illness caused by poverty due to over taxation then there will be less or very minimal cases of illness or social health related. There after bring the SHIF. For now it is not acceptable to common citizen regardless of how you try to convince or sell the idea. If anything the government in a hidden way is taking far far much more money from them than NHIF. Please let there be more honesty . More open, More vocal that in reality government is getting more money from citizens than in the previous NHIF.
