What they now need to tell us clearly is if those working in the private sector will be covered fully. It would be extremely unfair for employees to lose that kind of money (which in some cases far exceeds the premiums for a pretty good private health cover) for bed charges only - in a general ward at that. It would also be an unnecessary strain for employers to give matching contributions and still have to provide their employees private cover.
