honestly it depends on the video type and topic, the tools you use and how flashy you want it to be. you could do your video in passes, like one pass is just reviewing your video, checking your points, making sure you got everything, second pass is trimming and cutting the clips together, third one could be audio check, fourth is everything else like fancy effects and stuff. by doing this, you can integrate some stuff later down the like like doing pass 2 and 3 at the same time with relatively less time than you used to. or it just depends from person to person on how fast they perform said stuff, but we all can agree that a good workflow really speeds process up

I'm genuinely glad that you took the time to do something like this. People are interested in the game's performance, and it is something that genuinely matters to a lot of players. However, a lot of content creator's first reactions were how they didn't like X, Y, & Z changes, but that the skins looked cool with the new lighting, how the game was obviously less advanced than Game X, or how they *might* get back into Counter-Strike, even though they don't like the new update.

2:00 I agree with scrollbar & moving the friends to the left. This will also enable for the Exit button to be moved top-right, right where it belongs. Another important UX suggestion: keep the buttons labeled. This is what helps new users navigate. You may hide them later based on player in-game hours.

@thrownsofaraway9978
@thrownsofaraway9978 Жыл бұрын
My exit button remains typing "quit" in console or being tabbed out and closing from the taskbar since I *mostly* play faceit and end up tabbing out after every game. I haven't used the quit button in years. Also what fqdn said. Gameplay hours should not cause changes. If a user wants to change something, they should do it themselves. Also why do the friends need to move. Couldn't a scroll-bar be added to the left of where the friends are located? Definitely move the exit button to the top right though. That is one of the main reasons I don't use it even though I've spent thousands of hours it always feels unnatural to exit with the button.
@Levanooo
@Levanooo Жыл бұрын
I don’t agree with the friends section moving to the left; most people read left to right and thus that’s where the most important information should be placed. What they should do instead, is to have the sidebar appear under the menu bar instead of them overlapping each other, as the menu bar has higher hierarchical importance. In that case, they could test placing the exit button on the right, which allows for better muscle memory control.

As a side note: CS2 "still" uses MSAA because it's using a forward renderer. Forward renderers are thought to be less performant for AAA ultra graphics type games but they have less fixed overhead so they are great for less graphically intense VR applications (Half-Life Alyx) Deferred renderers which almost all modern AAA games use make MSAA prohibitively expensive mostly because it eats insane amounts of memory bandwidth
@sullgames
@sullgames Жыл бұрын
My understanding is that deferred rendering can handle a lot more dynamic lights on screen at once without slowing down, which is one of its major advantages. CS can do without this: super busy light effects would be distracting for competitive play, and most maps only have the sun with maybe a few light bulbs in a tunnel or something.

Thank you 2Kliks brother for taking the time to poke around before doing an in depth break down. Respect for taking your time to understand it, instead of treating it like a speed runner

I was hoping you would go into more detail about thr menu and settings page. For me that's really the most interesting part right now as I can't figutit out myself as I, as probably everyone else here, didn't get into the beta yet. Thanks for your content. All my knowledge of the source engine comes from you and helped a great deal. Can't wait for what you have in store for source2
