chhatrapati shivaji maharaj terminus (csmt) is a historic terminal train station and unesco world heritage site in mumbai, maharashtra, india. the terminus is the headquarters of india's central railway. it is one of the busiest railway stations in india, serving as a terminal for both long distance and suburban trains. csmt has a total of 18 platforms, seven platforms are for suburban emu trains and eleven platforms (platform 8 to platform 18) are for long distance trains. rajdhani, duronto, garib rath and tejas express leave from platform no. 18.

First go from Mumbai Central to Dadar station by local train then go from Dadar Western to Dadar Central with the help of station bridges and from there you will get direct local for csmt.

The locomotive at the end is decoupled and a new locomotive is coupled with the train bogie at the back side which take the trains back to their home station. These coupling and decoupling occurs 100 times a day at CSMT(mumbai)18 platform,Mumbai central(10 platform),howrah junction(23 platform),chennai central(17 platform),New Delhi junction(16 platform),Delhi junction(16 platform),Anand vihar terminal(12 platform) and Sealdah junction (20 platform)

Secure hai mam..cctv's sab jagah lge hai and security v kafi hoti hai..but phir v aap platform ki jagah centre hall mai wait kro agar aap ki train chlne mai time hua.
