Great instruction and explanation on the jab. I've been doing discord streaming and teaching my high school students how to box during quarantine. Definitely going to give them this video to watch. I hold my arm close to my face, peek a boo style, while I sway side to side to keep my head off the center line. I'm going to practice this too, always nice to have extra tools in your arsenal.

5:50 First time I’m hearing about the V for holding your left arm. Interesting. However I have heard that jabbing from the down position has a similar effect. The opponent doesn’t see when you’re jabbing from the down position. I’ll try the V Guard of holding my left hand. Thanks.

Hi Carlo, great video! I have a question, would you recommend me to switch from a 70lbs everlast bag to an Polyform A3/A4? Can you throw body shots with the aquabag?

Hello , I got an aquabag Wich weight something like 80 pounds,it's a big one ,the thing is it's heavy but not that long/tall ,so yes you can throw body shots but you won't be able to throw head shots ,you can't do both . But you can work on uppercuts wich you can't do property on a normal bag. imao aquabags are rather designed for headshots. I hope it can help you somehow.

What’s up Carlo, what gym do you train at ? I’ve trained at a few gyms in LA area like Sweet Science & Broadway Boxing in South LA, to name a few. Currently at a different gym in South Bay looking to get into Amatuer Boxing. Great video!!!!! The Jab is the Most important!!!
