Just a tip, when knocking in the rear posts, use a piece of wood between the hammer and posts so you don't hit metal against metal to stop any damage.👍

My only concern is that with the placement of your crossover, the inductor is a bit too close to the speaker magnet of the woofer. It looks to me like there will be some negative interaction.

Tharbamar it is Ok! but in the future you have to practise more 🙂 if you like doing this. I have done in the past several sets of speakers (vinyl) usually with gloss black. If done correctly nobody will notice 😉

Hello. I'm a big fan of your work and passion for music. I also have the wharfedale evo 4.2 as the only speakers. I love their musical cinematic sound. After buying them I didn't have much money left for a good amp but luckily I found a yamaha ax-930 at around 150$ from a fellow passionate. She's old but she performs quite astonishing. The only thing it lacks is power, it kinda fails to drive the speakers at very low freq and they start clipping. I raised some money and found a Denon pma 2010ae for 800$. My question is: Do you think it's that much of an upgrade to drive the speakers properly? Thank you for some feedback and may you be in good health and keep up the good content. Kind regards!

Would the cabinets take a wood stain or paint? Or would the glue seems look a bit weird with stain?

Driver size

Although you inserted the crossovers and said that you mounted them, it seems to me to be difficult to secure the crossovers via the woofer opening once you have the panels glued together. Just how did you secure the two crossovers? Just from observation, it would seem easier to secure the crossovers before gluing the panels together. The rest of the assembly is easy to understand. In addition, the gray vinyl wrapping showed some wrinkles on the side as you were installing them. Did you get those wrinkles out by just wiping the surface with the microfiber cloth?

Hello Mr. Tharbamar. I just wondering, Did you put some of the eggrate foam in the tweeter chamber after the brace? I mean the top and sidewalls to where the port tube and tweeter is located.

They were harder to build than it seems. Make sure you have the appropriate clamps, line up the cabinet properly for a tight fit, and work out the slip-on connectors at the end of the midrange and twitter leads to the appropriate speaker terminals, which have different sizes. Unfortunately CSS doesn't include extras in case you mess up.
