Dude that corn starch and nail glue trick blew my mind!! How clever!! And yeah Doller tree definitely doesn’t have files that will work on acrylics or nail tips, but they should have some sheets of sandpaper of various grits. When I have a file that’s wearing out, I just grab some sandpaper from the craft stash I’ve accumulated, and wrap a bit around the file. And with enough layers or maybe even some buffing between layers, I think you could have gotten a smooth result with doller tree nail polish topcoat. It would take like a million coats, but it would be possible lol. Fun challenge!!

Ours has partial tips and gel polishes. I did get the dremel too. It works if you're not doing anything too strenuous. Kind of impressed with it, honestly.

Dollar tree does have gel polish near me. The kiss polishes were right in front of you when you were there. But there's the la colors gel polishes. Which are actually pretty decent. I used them when I started up and still have some colors. Most my daughter has now. Lol

Heres a trick I found it works add base coat to the nail polish bottle then mix and shake then apply and dry with UV light!

I honestly don’t know how you survive with those nails. For me, those would be WAY to long. I prefer almond/stiletto because square tends to poke me a lot. (I do gymnastics and cheer so I’m very active)
