We could use this sense of national unity right now....

At first I thought the Olympics were all media hype. Then I went to the torch relay and I got really hyped up. Then when I saw the opening ceremony I really and truly believed! Now that the Olympics are over I still believe! Come on Canada, keep Believing!!!!

Wow this has been 4 years ago I can't believe it! We kicked butt in Vancouver. I was only nine years old. This music really set the mood, it was so patriotic, to bad CBC isn't using it in their broadcast in sochi. Ctv covers the Olympics better. O and by The way go Canada go!

That was so inspiring. The music was beautiful. The words arespirit lifting - powerful. All of Team 9, at U-Hill Elementary were raised our hands and were waving. We definitely believe!

Learned this one for band, an amazing song. I was very young when 2010 rolled around, but even then I celebrate our victories.

I miss 2010... It brought Canada together like never before. Plus, it being in my city didnt hurt either ;)

That's good to know. As an American who lives near the border in Vermont and has cable access to Montreal-area TV, I've preferred the round-the-clock LIVE Canadian TV coverage of the Olympics to the tape-delayed American coverage on NBC since the Atlanta Summer Games in 1996.

What a catchy tune! When the 2010 olympics were going I couldn't get the tune out of my head!

I admit I was hesitant at first, but the fanfare really does fit the mood of the Olympics quite nicely, and I'll welcome it.

i remember when crosby shot that goal i went outside (i live in downtown vancouver) and i heard a BIG rumble! it was amazing, people poured into the streets, the whole atmosphere was glowing with victory, even the american team was cheering with us. It's too bad that we can't relive the past, cause I sure would!

@SkeeterVT Technically, Canada possessed the Stanley Cup more than the Americans did. During the summer, the cup was mainly in Canada as the players and management staff each got their day with it. The cup was in Canada more than any other country is what I'm trying to say.

Actually, I'm glad that CTV has chosen to make "I Believe" its permanent Olympics theme. It will be as beloved a theme to Canadians as "The Bugler's Dream" -- the longtime Olympics theme used by ABC and continued by NBC -- is to American TV viewers.

Personally, I liked this version WAY better than the one with lyrics. Still when we (Canada) won gold and they played the song I got millions of goosebumps! GO CANADA! World records!

It's actually a very well made piece of music and it brings back good memories of Vancouver 2010. The problem is that CTV is re-using it for the 2012 Olympics. Let's just hope they find new music by Sochi.

umm, they usually show it before they go on air, they showed it during the intermission of the mens hockey game before they went on air and a couple of times after that the same day, it was cool lol, i really dont remember much on the opening ceremonies...sry about that

@Neros3443 When will they come back to Canada? In 30 years I guess. I wish the Olympics could be a permanent thing here. I miss turning the TV one and watching them. It won't be the same watch them in Canada and having them go on someplace else in the world. It won't feel right.

@SpiderRider3 Not true, Lake Placid and Athens have had the games twicce. London will be having it for the third time in 2012. But yah, when Canada gets the games again (probably like 20-24 years from now) they wont be in Vancouver, and they will most likely be the summer games they're bidding on, hoping for Toronto to win.

I wanna know where the video is for this song...it was the one with a crowd, olympic athletes shown throughout it, and it was mostly red/white. It was usually shown before CTV went on air.

@wiedep mayb try tpying this in 'CTV Vancouver 2010 "I Believe" Broadcast Consortium Theme (Instrumental)' even though its the same as this vid tittle then it should. if still not then take out some of the words
