His actions and divisive language have done so much damage to the fabric of Canadian society and our place on the world stage. Freeland is so out of touch with her constituents it's egregious, she makes my skin crawl when she speaks. Singh can't even lead the workers party in line with the values of the NDP considering he didn't stand up for THE WORKERS during the trucker protest and instead helped set the precedent for future authoritarian over reach. He couldn't be doing a worse job of gaining NDP supporters, which should be incredibly easy right now considering how loathed Trudeau is. At least Pierre speaks of responsibility, uniting the country and tackling the things that are driving this country and its citizens into poverty. Trudeau will go down as the worst PM in Canada's history.

An arbitrator or an adjudicator must be 100% free of any bias! Otherwise they have failed to fulfil their fiduciary duty to both parties and must disqualify themselves before they are asked to by others! The same applies to overly partisan leanings for the Speaker of the House who must be impartial in order to make rulings in the House of Commons!

House Speakers in the UK have to give up their party membership upon being elected to the position. I don't understand why that's not a fundamental requirement for Speakers in Canada, either at the Federal or Provincial level. Partisan politicians will always have an inherent bias towards their own.

That whole bit at the end is clearly scripted, the other questions you could hear some emotion and inflection in his voice and then when it came to the last question his voice and answer was almost robotic and pre planned to the letter, Fergus clearly doesn't think he has done anything wrong and that itself is a huge issue. He needs to be removed now and centured.

After watching Greg Fergus as the house speaker, I have to wonder how he got the position to begin with. He does not do his job properly and therefore should be booted from his position. There will constantly be issues with Greg Fergus in the House and should be stopped before it gets worse.

The NDP doesn’t support him to resign just to apologize and pay a fine it’s to late for that now he gone against the fact he is a non partisan member as speaker of the house so he knows fully well what he did was wrong and now he’s trying to weasel his way out of it to keep his cushy position as speaker I think a vote must be taken and non confidence vote be affirmed in the house and he should vacate the speakers chair

Every time I see or hear Andrew Scheer being critical of this new speaker who should have known better of his actions I literally can’t believe it all. Check it out for yourself no speaker ever has been more bipartisan over his era of being bi partisan Han Andrew Scheer . Check it out. This is a fact. He really should zip his lips.
