Strategically he should have stayed, they should have let him stay, it's optically a TKO to leave the party hours after this interview. Although the truth would (will) come out in the long run, leaving now all but convicts in the present moment... this was a fatal mistake by the Liberals.

Same as with the MPP who resigned from the Ford Caucus, my question would be , if you didn't do anything wrong, why resign ? Innocent poeple, don't run. The optics look terrible, that two citizens were possibly detained longer than they should have been. Possibly. You swear an Oath, before witness's , to Canada, if you broke that Oath that you swore, there should be serious consequences. 0_o
