Hi Paul, almost 6.30am here in Ireland, and I had my first full on giggle of the day when Caroline was making you laugh, such a wonderful sight and sound! Please try not allow anyone’s negativity or hurtful comments to compromise your positivity, I, for one, am so grateful with every update that you are still with us, and the bonus is you are planning how to live your life now, and looking after yourself. You are an amazing person, and I feel very honoured and blessed to have come across your content and to even be able to support you with words, if nothing else. You are a very dignified individual, you demanded nothing and expected nothing, but gracefully appreciated anyone who could and did help. I never felt, or was made feel my care was less appreciated, even though I didn’t get to donate. That, dear Paul, is a reflection of who YOU truly are. Keep being YOU, in all your loveliness, because if I could change any one thing about you, it would happily be that you never had to go through the horrendous experience of your illness. Lots of care, always! 🥰

I'm glad you are working on letting go of negative comments on your site. Having followed you for a very long time, it was so obvious how difficult it was to even ask for help. I listened to a speech a number of years ago. I can't remember the circumstances, but the speaker told us all that for some reason, 30% of people will not like you for no apparent reason. It's something within themselves and has nothing to do with you. You might remind them of someone or some other negative circumstance and they transfer those feeling on to you. I remind myself of this stat when someone hates me for no reason whatsoever. Just press on and and move forward. Don't internalize it. Don't let them stear your peace and happiness. Have a joyous day.

Paul, absolutely agree that you should ignore the negative comments. I know it is hard sometimes. Always so happy to see you and you always have something interesting to share. Glad you are doing the normal things. I know you are going into your winter but finally here in Kansas USA we are finally getting some early summer weather. Have had lots of storms but that normal for us as well. Keep smiling and as my dad would say: “you gotta keep a stiff lower lip cause your upper one is gonna hang” I know corny dad joke😁. He was a good guy like you and lived 20 years with congestive heart failure- not once did he loose his sense of humor and I know it made his journey much easier. You two would have been good friends.❤️

Just had a quick thought Paul. Not sure if you like gardening or not but I'm reminded now of a quote by Audrey Hepburn. "To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow". Maybe you could plant something. We have some lovely natives here in Perth. Not sure about you but I love watering, fertilizing and pottering around my garden watching things grow, I find this very therapeutic 😊🪴🍁🌻

If my co workers hadn’t done fund raisers for me, I would have lost my house. There’s nothing wrong with receiving the gift of help getting you through this hard time. Keep on living! ❤

Good on you for taking care of your teeth. My mum had a bad tooth infection that led to a heart infection that almost killed her. That’s when I learned how important dental hygiene was.

Yes that's true, if the infection gets into the blood stream, it can kill, I had one once, it was the most painful thing I've had, I ended up with the tooth taken out

What can I say, I found you with you helping me getting a cigarette lighter out of a Mazda. My heart broke for you when I clicked on your other videos. Dearest Paul I have a flu shot every year and I have all my covid vaccines except the booster. I am a cancer survivor (7) years now. When you have health issues and you immune system is weak you need to protect yourself that’s what vaccines do protect. You are a smart man and I know if you thought it was not in your best interest you wouldn’t have them. You do you. I respect your decision and stand by it with you. You know it use to be ok to disagree with others and still be friends and respect one another but these days for some reason if you disagree with others they try to destroy hate and sometimes violence is even taken when did this behavior become acceptable and right to destroy and hate. I live in Georgia USA and I see it all the time. Be nice and kind help when you can it is for your benefit as well as the person you are helping our lives can change in a instant and no one is excluded you may be the next one to walk in those same shoes. Hi Paul in Perth , I have learnt so much from you , you are very special, kind , and one of the most nicest guy doing this on you tube , I have just been told I have a tumour in my pancreas and multiple masses on my liver with the pancreas as the primary cause I'm 55 and , I'm terrified for my kids and grandkids so I'm going to keep watching you , you give me hope ❤,

Can't afford to go to the dentist myself. Used to spend half my life there until I had to pay for it, especially as I am a chocoholic. Love Australia. I emigrated to Canada because it was closer to my parents in the UK but would have loved to live in Queensland. Perth is the only big city in Australia that I haven't visited. Stopped at the midline and went north. Keep enjoying your life! We are all only are guaranteed the moment we are living.

Hi from your friend in Nova Scotia Canada. Pleased to hear you talking about getting on with life including taking care of yourself because you are right, we could all just say why bother eating, I'm going to die eventually, why bother exercising - same deal, and on and on right? I understand you have serious health challenges and maybe have even been given a timeframe in which they expect you to expire. I'll be 54 in August but maybe today is my last day. We don't know. I'm also sure you've heard stories of people who lived longer than their expected expiration date. I'm quite certain I wouldn't want the pain you go through and the new routines you live with BUT I think having a positive mindset and grabbing all you can each day is the way to go. It's ok to be happy too, grateful even, and if you have an opportunity from someone or even just alone, to go out and do something, experience something, just frickin do it. Sure the end is coming...for all of us. I just feel like you should squeeze the juice you might not even realize is still there. Because I'm not with you I don't probably get the whole picture...but I do suspect there is juice left to squeeze. I hope you understand what I'm saying. If you were here I'd take you for a drive around my area, the lovely beaches, the city of Halifax, do a little walking, show you some cool stuff. Go. Do what you can. Laugh. Smile. Hug. I know. I'm a little goofy.

Paul, you are looking and sounding GREAT! You are living life, my friend, and it looks good on you! As others have said, block block block the criticizers. If they don't approve or wish to follow, then they have the choice to watch what DOES interest them! People online can be really nasty, unfortunately, and the anonymity of the internet gives them a platform to say whatever they feel like saying, including the most horrible things. People get bullied, harassed and criticized all the time and it's sad. I remember life before social media came into our world, and it was a much more peaceful existence. A double edged sword, definitely. I lost my husband to suicide, 28 yrs ago, and I have had people get upset at me and say things like "no wonder he killed himself if he had to live with YOU" or similar lovely comments. They go for what they know will hurt the most. So, screw them. Block them out, and don't let them affect YOUR life because that is what gives them the thrills.....they get excited knowing they've made someone else miserable. In due time, karma will straighten them right out. People are here because we care about you. You are a friend, and I care about how my friends are doing. Love from the woods of New Hampshire in the US!

@@carolinski73 Thank you, so much, for your kindness! Some people are capable of being so cruel and nasty. I don't understand how such people can live with themselves, and I imagine they are probably miserable in their own skin. Thankfully, there are wonderful people like you, and like Paul. XO
