Gnats is a normal process it will go away, mites are different there are non harmful mites and there are harmful mites

@@isobelcottageexoticstv3233 yes the gnats are the WORST! I’m hoping my springtails will help with that And yeah they are soil mites I believe. I’m just wishing they would go away!

@@ArieChiChen gnats will go away it’s common on new cultures. The white rounded mites are harmless, if you have this put more springtails to out populated them. If the mites goes bad you might need to make new culture just make sure you baked everything except the soil and move 1 isopod at time than may take up to 3-6 months having 2 cultures
