"Divide Track List" to split the timeline horizontally for projects with many tracks.

SMPTE timecode is a format used for synchronization with video devices... you load the Smpte signal to the channel beforehand, then the instrument start stop frame information. but as far as i remember there is only one master sending the signal...

You mean that this can be used in combination with setting the ruler format to Timecode? I've never used SMPTE sync in Cubase myself.

@@LanewoodStudios YEs...I used it a few times about 25 years ago.. I was using yamaha 02 R and AKAI DR 16... I connected dr 16 and cubase with synchronized smpte signal to increase the number of channels...

there is also the posibility to set a secondary time display in the transport bar (which I usually set to seconds)

Good afternoon sir, i have a problem when i create audio track i received message (could not create record file) i need your help what is the problem

That's very annoying, but I've never had that problem myself. It sounds like Cubase does not have the correct permissions to write to the default recording/project drive. You can try recording on another hard drive but the problem shouldn't be there in the first place so I'd contact Steinberg support to help out.
