Great video thanks for posting it! Is there a workaround for the fact that when you add a new track it messes up the existing configurations?

Thanks for watching! Unfortunately not..The only advice I can give is to nest your instruments into folder categories. For example, if you add a violin patch but have it nested in the 'Strings' folder it you can just hide / show a folder to update a config. Instead of hunting for tracks in a list.

Thank you! I made use of your tip👍 I seem to have a problem. After doing configurations I noticed that every time I create a new track this track appears in all configuration’s. Than I have to remove this track from all configurations and update.

Alas, this is one of the small workflow hiccups with Cubase. What I should have mentioned in the video is to set up Visibility configurations LAST after you've built your template. A tip though, if you nest things in folders, it'll make it easier to adjust configurations. As you can select the folder instead of loads of individual instruments to hide.

Does the mix console reflect the configurations you make in the project window or do you have to rebuild them again in the mix console ? Currently they don’t seem to?

Unfortunately not. They are indendant from the main project window currently.

They're project specific unfortunately, however - if you're pretty consistent with how you name tracks / folders you can build PLE commands to handle it.
