A long day trip there Keith, but other than the rain going north on the WCML it looked like a good trip -.from the days when you could window hang! Nice to look back and remember days like this.

Thanks Darren. I cant go out at all at the moment due to health problems.However I am enjoying viewing the many programmes I have stored in my library. The rail seen was much better ''back then'' as it is now. SO BUSY.

The first railtour I ever travelled on was in June 28th 2008 when royal Scot’s grey took me to Penzance from Birmingham new street with the title of the tour called the Cornish explorer And that occurred exactly a month before you joined this tour the Cumbrian mountain express which took you from Wellingborough to Carnforth via the settle and Carlisle line
