You will be aware that ACX (part of Amazon) have decided my creator account with them is persona non grata so they won't be paying me for my audiobooks on Audible. It seems Audible are still selling them; they're just keeping all the money!
Anyway, I've decide to put the full text of my 2019 story collection up here supported by ads and donations (if you are consider it worth it and have the wherewithal)
00:00:00 Start
00:00:08 Introduction
00:01:48 A West Cumberland Coal Mine
00:20:23 The Woman of Wasdale

01:14:34 The Little Man of Carlisle
01:42:22 The Hitcher
01:54:19 The Highest Inn in England
02:13:28 The Bewcastle Fairies
02:36:53 The Croglin Vampire
03:00:16 The Fortuneteller’s Fate
03:48:48 Cross Fell
04:11:39 An Old School Revenant
04:36:02 The Orphan of Cartmel
05:13:42 The Demon Clock of Mosedale

Yesssss! I *really* needed this today. I don’t think you quite realize how much we love your original stuff. With a lot of narrators who throw in their original stuff, they’re nice and we really enjoy them and everything, and appreciate them sharing, but we get super-duper excited about yours! I say “we” because I’m very certain I speak for the whole community based on the consensus in the comments.

All fantastic stories. Makes me proud to be Cumbrian. I think all of us around for the miraculous long hot summer of '76 remembers it - and it stands as a cypher for all the summers of our childhoods. I remember reading online about the Lady Pit disaster in Workington in the mid 19th century. The sea broke through and filled the mine -all that was seen on the surface was a sudden little wave that washed ashore. I find it chilling to think it's all still down there, miles of tunnels under the sea, filled with cold seawater and perhaps even the remains of the skeletons of the men and boys, and horses who were drowned.

Great minds think alike spirit sisSTAR 🌟 We have great taste! I can’t believe that writing books doesn’t make the good money it used to. I wonder why!? Tony has a way with words which I actually PREFER to most of the great’s! Really and truly! When this recession is over I pray that writer’s will get the big money that they used to…. When we do what we love for a living, I genuinely believe it will reward one financially! If It’s our passion and the unique gift we all have to share with the world…. Our destiny…. It’s just a matter of timing! Sorry if I am bothering you. Blessings from London 🙏 🌺🕊🤍🕊🌺

I've been listening to it for two days and I loooooooooved it . 1 it was an easy book to understand (I'm not a native english speaker ) 2 I lived my whole life listening to ghost stories reading them and I took my share of horror too 😂 as I lived some paranormal events and I had unfortunate friends having their parts of fun too😂 , now ghost stories lost their interest becouse of the repetition of the same themes yet here I enjoyed it soooo much . It's not creepy to me ..this book is somehow deliciously funny 🎉🎉🎉 Now I have a new favourite writer Tony Walker Thanks sir 😊

Hi Tony from NSW Australia👋 Thank you for this fabulous compilation, which I’ve listened to many times. Is there any chance of more long playing treasures like this?! Your talent & voice is greatly appreciated. Thanks again, all the best🌻

I have an Audible annual membership. I will be calling them tomorrow to inquire as to why they think they can continue to sell your books without paying you. I'll be posing some tough questions, such as WHY should I pay for my membership when they're engaging in fraud and theft ... Time to hire a barrister?

Since this, I have asked them to delete my books from their list, and they have. So they aren't making money off me (apart from ones I publish via Authors Republic which I do get paid for.)

@@ClassicGhost nope. Audible is still selling 6 of your original books (for 1 credit or to purchase for the prices listed): 1) Horror Stories For Halloween (01/23/23) ~ $3.91 2) The Poisoned Rose (10/19/23) ~ $1.95 3) Darkworlds Paris (05/16/22) ~ $13.96 4) London Horror Stories (08/20/20) ~ $10.46 5) Darkworlds London (03/16/22) ~ $13.96 6) More Christmas Ghost Stories (01/07/21) ~ $10.46 I'm a retired Paralegal (Barristers assistant). If Audible is still selling your original work and not paying you, that's fraud and theft on either side of the 'Herring Pond' ...

@@ClassicGhost good because if Audible was cheating you I'd call them out in a New York minute. I've been listening to your stories to help me sleep for a few years now. I love your channel. Amazon stinks!
