For your starter/flex plate issue. There should be a 1/8 gap between the starter pinion shaft and the teeth on the flex plate.

A helpful tip for Caitlyn. (Sp?) When using the sheet metal shears stop short of a complete snip, That way you don't get that peak in the sheet metal edge.

Thanks Larry, off camera, she asked me how I got such a clean cut on a piece I trimmed while fitting it, and I honestly didn't know what to tell her. Sometimes the things you know to do you don't know why you know them or how to help others do it. I appreciate the clarity. Very helpful...and thanks for watching.

Next time you have starter issue try turning the engine by hand slightly(clockwise at crank pulley). Then try starter again. If starter meshes well with flex plate then you're looking at damaged teeth on the flex plate. Hope this helps.

The interior looks great and I’m glad you gave the real history of the Gadsden flag. Some have falsely claimed it’s a “right wing extremist symbol .” Not true.
