What a gorgeous ship and there appears to be lots to do. When I can travel again, hubby and I will have to look into a cruise on the Queen Victoria. Thank you for showing it off so well.

@@timstravelguides were there any SINGLE people alone? im thinking of going one day as all my friends are poor, could i stand out being alone?

@@petejames1326 hi Pete, there are quite a lot of single travellers onboard. It’s fairly easy to make connections as people chat at the bars and restaurants and if you join in with any of the activities. No one will bat an eyelid just because you’re on your own. It’s a very sociable environment and you can join in or keep yourself to yourself as much or as little as you want

@@timstravelguides im in my early 40's so i would be one of the younger patrons correct? which is the way i like it, as partying and loud music isnt my thing at all, never has been, id rather hide in the library after lunch and dinner to be honest

@@petejames1326 yes you will be one of the younger cruisers onboard. You can escape and keep yourself to yourself as much as you want. The library is a great spot, but also lots of other areas to relax on your own. I love walking laps around the ship on deck 3, just me, my thoughts and the incredible sea. You’ll find the elements of the ship that you like.

Thank you for posting this video. It was informative and the relaxed manner in your narration was most enjoyable. It has helped me with my planning of our next cruise. QV does remind me of Queen Elizabeth, not surprisingly, I suppose, since they are sister ships.

I’m booked on this ship in November 24. Looking forward to it but I’m just worried it might be too formal for me. I’ve been on many cruises in my life and tend to prefer freestyle without the need for black tie etc. is smart casual ok? Or do I need to be taking my Sunday best?

Hi Jonathan, a lot of people do book Cunard specifically as it’s more formal than other cruise lines and the majority dress up every evening. Not everyone likes dressing up all the time so there are options to eat in the buffet restaurant or go to the pub onboard where the dress code is more relaxed. I’d suggest you take a couple of smart clothing items to keep your options open. I hope you have a great cruise.
