I love how much care you put into each stroke. Beautiful drawing and process.

I’ve watched hundreds of videos trying to teach myself to draw bc I know it will make my paintings better, but drawing just feels like such a hassle and all the approaches I’ve learned result in drawing a bunch of shapes and lines to get structure only to erase them later. This is the first time I’ve seen an approach that beautifully incorporates blocking in structures without erasing, much like a painter would. I’ve never felt so inspired to draw. Thank you!!

Just found you and oooh so glad I did. There is some wonderful drawing coming from the Orient just now and this is up there with the best, and so generous to have reference photo AND show the skull. As an extra bonus, I see you are a pastel list,a nice change from charcoal. Is it the lighting/ video that makes the white so dominant? I am thinking a slightly warm light grey might look more natural? Wonderful demo, thank you.
