The fact that some of you are offended by the "diabetic's dream" comment makes me so worried for the future. Why has society become so easily offended? It's like no one can say anything anymore because it offends someone. If someone said they prefer cats over dogs, it turns into a freakin' PowerPoint presentation on why you were offended and how dogs are better than cats. I mean, just ignore it if it "offends" you and move on with your life. Jeez...

How about the fact that i myself am a diabetic and I have to live In a world where I am constantly haunted by the fact that so little people actually understand what diabetes type 1 and 2 is and that they feel they have the right to make jokes about it. If you were a diabetic yourself, you would feel the same way. Do you find it acceptable to make jokes about cancer? (If you do then may I suggest you re-evaluate your life choices) because it's basically the same way.

Dani Roose actually youre wrong. I am a type 1 diabetic, diagnosed at age 14 and I myself have always joked about my disease, and welcomed others to, because why the hell not? Why the hell would I sit around and be bitter about this disease that I will have for the rest of my life? It's called having a sense of humor, and taking things with a grain of salt. Yes, most people don't know anything about diabetes or the difference between type 1 and 2, but I could care less, I educate the people close to me and let them know how important it is, but I will never stop making jokes and and laughing along with others about it. Being bitter really fucking sucks.

Raven Hughes i really like how you think! People with problems / issues to deal with in life should always not wallow in it but try to step out of it and accept it.. it is tough for sure but why live so sadly when you can actually make it all better. It's about how you choose to look at it. I admire your courage and strength the same i feel sad that it's sth you have to deal with but dont ever give up! Having a sense of humour is good as it allows you to look at things less painfully. Not asking ppl to make fun of course, thats different. Teasing and mocking is totally different and dani roose, dont always think that ppl are being insensitive or mean, it's obvious their comment had no malicious intent. It was so light a remark so i hope you can understand that not everyonr is out there to hurt another.

You see I wish my younger sister saw it the way you do. She has been diagnosed for a few months now and she STILL cries whenever she takes her insulin. Recently there was a death of a teenage girl (I think she was a teenager, don't quote me on that) the girl was a diabetic and she refused to take her insulin over the weekend and yea she died. So that definitely woke her up xD

Dani Roose I don't have diabetes, but my best friend has it and she is always in SO much pain. I've never felt pain like that before, but she acts so different and you can tell when she's hurting and I always feel so bad because she can't go to school because of it. So I will never make jokes about diabetes because I can see how much of effects the people that have it.

My favorite challenge so far!! Other ideas: archery, pottery, jewelry making, dancing, beat boxing, writing poems, bar tending, and DJ.

Yes you guys should paint, interpret the same directions. A circle, with three smaller circles and a tree and other directions and see the variance in how you two perceive the directions.

This was my favorite challenge so far! Other challenge ideas: jewelry making, pottery, archery, writing a poem, setting a table, DJ, beat boxing, bar tending, dancing, and painting a room/wall.

There's 3 explinations: 1) you open the oven before they are ready and there's a sudden change in temperature 2) the oven has uneven heat distribution 3) the batter for the cupcake wasn't beaten properly, so there are no 'air' pockets, try the 'folding' method :) Sincerely, My-Mom-Owns-A-Bakery

Zoe and Jim, my challenge for you is you have to have a go at how many strawberries dipped in chocolate you can do so, have a big bowl of melted chocolate and a pile of strawberries each and you have to get one at a time and see how many each of you can get by dipping them into the chocolate! Enjoy...!
