No it's not the size of your hips that matter it's the movement ;) If you do it enough and experiment for a while I bet you'll be pro!

I think women are better because they have a small waist and big hips so it's easier to keep the hula hoop up and Jim has quite a straight body

if you go to the left, put left leg in front, to the right, put the right leg in front. Stand up straight, look up and dont bend the front knee, power off the balll of the back foot. BTW the record is 132 hoops, held by yours truly, Paul Dizzy Hips Blair!!!! :) Jim, hula-hooping is a man's sport - you can do it!

I was AMAZING at hula hooping when I was in P.1, I used to do it everyday with my best friend! We used to challenge ourselves: we would close our eyes and hula hoop backwards, do intricate patterns... We had so much fun!!!! I miss the old days...

I used to go to this like gym and there was a child area and we got to go upstairs and take out hula hoops and SOMETIMES scooters. The Hula Hoops were big, red and really heavy. I could spin 2 around my neck
