Drove it and ordered it. But I have to mention that I actually got more than 20 percent discount so that the car costed 55k in the end effectively. It was just 5k more expensive than a comparable VZ310. So f*ck it, I went for the VZ5

What are you talking about? About the 105°C Oil Temperature? That's perfectly normal for a roadcar.

This doesn't have the brembo 4 pot brakes. The vz5 has Akebono 6 pot brakes.

Like pokest has already said. This has a totally different brake from Akebono with 6 Pistons. The problematic brake is the performance Brembo 4 Piston brake. There is also a new revised version of it now.

Around 4.6 without launch control. You lose almost a second building up boost.

@@DMCarReviews Over 5 with an RS3? Which Model of RS3? My Formentor VZ310 does 4.7 with Launch Control and 5.4 without if you floor the Car in Cupra Mode. I dont think that an RS3 would be the Same. I measured with a Racebox No Rollout.

@@t3chn0m0 The EA888 has better low end torque and faster turbo spool time. I drove the VZ5 and got driven in the VZ310. I have to say, the vz310 feels more explosive in the lower RPM band/from a standstill. I would love to know the exact numbers without LC though for the VZ5.

@@t3chn0m0 nope, it's not normal, normal is 93C oil temp with +30C outside temperature on my ML63 W164 with proper oil cooler, and it's after long trip with lot of max acceleration 🙃

@@KiparisDG It is normal. Its in its optimal temperature. Every 2.0 TSI and 2.5 TSI and 2.9 TSI engine from VWAG have the exact same temperatures all the time. On a hot sunny day on the nordschleife it will get up to 115 degrees which still is totally fine. You cant compare this to an 20y old AMG with a NA V8. Oil has a viscosity where it works the best as you know. Everything up to 120 degrees Celsius is normal and fine without any issues.

@@t3chn0m0 i drove and tested Formentor. I am sure that you have not driven this car. Drive it and see it's interior plastic accents are cracking at every single bump. And Formentor's rivals are a waaay better in terms of quality. It's a expensive car for this average quality. Don't be a fan while commenting, be objective.

@@manoszervas9613 I'm a automotive engineer and i really know how to test and drive a vehicle because of my job. Cupra is a good brand in terms of performance. Read my last comment about quality. Just be objective, it hasn't got any "very good quality" accents.

In germany a fully loaded costs around 73.000€ taxes are ok. Around 400€ a year and insurance about 1200€ a year.

@@t3chn0m0 yep, 60K€ is the base car without options. Since the initial CO2 tax here is limited to 50% of the price of the car, but up to 40K€, if you buy a VZ5 with 10K€ options, then 70K€, tax will be 35K€! Ridiculous 🤬

Naja ich hab den VZ5 seit etwa 2 Wochen und muss sagen es ist gefühlt ein anderes Auto im Vergleich zu den mit 310 ps. Liegt nicht nur an PS sondern 5zylinder, torque splitter, viel bessere Bremsen (hatte davor Probleme mit der Brembo) usw. Aber ja der Preis ist schon sehr hoch

@@farrissmith5009 entschuldige die späte Antwort. Ich bin da ganz bei dir natürlich Leistung die Laufkultur des 5 Zyl usw. Bremse die wahnsinnig geilen Sitze. Es ist ein schönes Auto und ich glaube auch das jeder dem es das wert ist damit glücklich ist! Und ich darf dazu sagen das ich auch grinse wenn ich den 5Zyl höre! Viel Freude mit dem Auto Hund immer eine gute Fahrt! Grüße
