Oh, I have the exact same thing with my neck from time to time. I noticed that often happens when I try to use any product with benzoyl peroxide on my face, so I will not try it anymore. It has happened with a cleansing balm from Beauty Pie once and a hyplocoreous spray as well. But, I have spent loads of money to identify any allergies, and there were none detected, except nickel, and I never wear neckless, so, I am not sure what it this all about. Note: One thing that really helped the skin on my neck be more resilient is the Ingineous Beauty supplement. Not sure why, but every time I stopped it, the neck got sensitive again.

Im having that issue now on the outer corner of my eye. Usually LaRoche Posay Cicablast baum works, but this time, even that stung. Luckily my drugstore had Avene Cicafate Restorative Cr3am, and it worked. So I am now trying to figure out what caused it.

It looks like retinol burn. At least how mine looks.
