I've had several parties attempt copyright claims on this videos in the years it has been on KZfaq. Despite the fact this is a clip from a public domain Three Stooges short, some attempt to claim ownership and monetize it. Currently, Sony Pictures has a claim against this video and have monetized it. I filed a dispute but had it appealed! I can file another dispute but KZfaq is requiring my personal information for some reason and share it with Sony. It's clear to anyone this does not belong to Sony or me - it's public domain! If you see a banner ad or have to wait for an ad to play to watch this clip, I apologize; it's not my doing. Apparently Sony is in such dire need for capital they need to monetized KZfaq videos they don't own. I literally picked up the stand during mock trial when the judge told me. I said the same thing Curly said and everyone laughed. These stooges are the kings of comedy. lol

Pure genius. Curly had a remarkable approach to humor. It wasn't the standard formula with a set up and delivery. He attacked your senses often faster than you had time to truly work up a bellowing laugh. His niche was the way he could capture his audience mesmerized with subtly amusing gags laced back-to-back in real-life situations. Then afterwards, you'd find yourself replaying what you saw in your mind and chuckling at his outlook on life: "I'm a victim of circumstance!"

I love when Curly sits down and the whole chair falls over. It's so unexpected which is what makes it so great. If you look closely, you can tell a stunt man substituted for Curly but it was very well done.

Glad this is in the public domain now. You can see Curly's stunt double at around 1:56. I have watched this classic well over 50 times and still laugh. In fact, The Stooges are the only comedians where I'm guaranteed a laugh or three every single time. The genius of it.
