Thanks so much for watching! I know that the Kaweco Sport isn't for everyone due to its size or even if the nib is a dud. I also like their larger pens, the Perkeo and Student. The Perkeo is even less in price than the Sport, with the Student being more in price than both. I hope you enjoy your Pearl. :) As for the calligraphy nibs, I am using a Sailor ink with my 1.5 nib, and I love it. In terms of Kaweco inks, I've tried their Paradise Blue - which I love, Pearl Black, Caramel Brown, Smokey Grey - which is too light for me, and Palm Green. I'll have to continue trying out different inks with these calligraphy nibs. A Lamy stub nib is on my list to try out.

@@InsideKimmysMind Hey Kimmy, the newer (within the last 2 or 3 years?) Kaweco Sports supposedly have JoWo nibs which are known to be a bit more consistent in regards to consistency (less duds!?), although I have one or two that are not very pleasant to write with. I do own a few Perkeo's and love the medium nibs as they have a bit of "bounce" to them - only wish the plastic was a bit more dense as the pens feel very light. Don't own a Student, but have it on my list to purchase - I have my eye on the 30's, although not sure if it's a berry or pink color? I just wish more of the Kaweco pens have larger sized nibs as I think only the Supra has a #6 and it's a basic Bock nib. On the topic of calligraphy nibs, Kaweco also has a set in the Perkeo body, which I think might be a better choice for me? I only have experience with the blue that comes with pens in cartridges and Smokey Grey, which as you said is way too light, even in the wettest, broadest nib Sport I own. Feels very dry too, which has put me off on Kaweco inks. Do you agree on the dryness of Kaweco inks or do they vary depending on the color? Enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day evening.

I use both options. Sometimes it is nice to be able to just use the converter, but the capacity is smaller. Still, I like the convivence of it. But I'm so glad that I can also use a syringe to refill empty cartridges. Yes! These pens are so enticing. I'll most likely share a complete Kaweco collection again. I've gained so many since I posted my last collection video. XD

I was about to ask the same thing. I also love the Kaweco Sport. All of mine are plastic so I eye dropper fill them with just a little silicone grease on the threads. I like the ease of filling and the great ink capacity.

Thank you so much for watching! And yes, I used Kuretake Karappo empty brush pen. It comes with a wick that you can use and fill in any ink with. It is a one-time fill pen, so you can't reuse it after filling it up once, but it is a unique way to use ink. I bought mine from Jetpens. :)
