He will hold the title about 1986-1992. He probably lose to bowe but beat him in the rematch and regain the undisputed champion and hold it for 1992-2002 Then he would start to decline in the early 2000s and probably lose against chris byrd in a close match but kevin rooney would get him prepared for rematch and beat chris byrd and regain the belt back and hold it for 2002-2005 and retire , having a record of 70-2 or 65-2 or 76-2 since he always active

Began before that. He had false friends like Rory Holloway who regularly misled Mike and dragged him into the worst situations possible always bringing Mike back down to the streets he wanted to avoid. He helped Don King convince Mike to fire Bill Cayton, and others who were all honest big hearted men who loved Cus and Mike. Don King and Rory Holloway said you don't want to trust those white devils. Mike trusted them and forever altered his path. Happy to see Mike on top again.

Combat sambo fighters from Russia basically fighting mma rules striking and elite level wrestling and submissions leg lock master's.. in the 90s before mma was a big thing .. Russia guys out there that put tyson on his back in seconds and could snap limbs choke him unconscious.. rip his knees apart mike tyson was great boxer but throw him in a cage no rules one man leaves other 🤷🏻 fight to the death . There was elite level submission wrestlers that have tyson finished in under a minute boxing is boxing in a fight no referee There to say break keep it clean ect .. he's going to put you on your back in seconds and if he's nice choke you unconscious

Mike has always been a caring and sensitive man, from early on, you always see him hurrying to make sure his opponent was not badly hurt. It is the marketing that portrayed him as a savage uncaring beast. As a matter of fact, he always visited his opponent in the locker room after the fight. Cheers on a special human being.

Mike was also the guy who once said “if he ain’t dead it doesn’t count” referring to the opponent he’d just knocked out and made fun of a fighters groans saying “he was making female gestures in there”. Mike did and does have a good heart but he’s a complicated guy and was never a nice guy.

@@therealc.t.7085 Don't look at the world as black or white. This kind of rhetoric was part of Tyson's psychological strategy to intimidate his opponents and assert his dominance. My father stayed far from home and came home fortnightly. He died after I turned 7. My mother was all we had(9 children from the same mother and father), no father and no money. At least I never had to look for a mother. God bless the woman who yes yes Mike I will be your mother❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢.

Floyd Patterson's finest moment in his boxing career was when he knocked out ingomar Johansson and became the first fighter to win back the heavyweight crown. Jack Dempsey & Gene Tunney had publicly said he would not win and didn't even deserve a rematch. Cus D. Amato told Patterson that he couldn't beat Liston. Some of liston's opponents, just like Tyson's opponents years later -were defeated psychologically before they ever entered the ring. Cus is 100% right about the psychological importance. Of the little bit of history I know about him, I'm sure I've read that although being HW champ, and beating some good opposition, he also lost to people (on paper) he should have beat. Or was his losses to people that were just too good? I think he lost to sonny Liston didn't he? (Twice?) Which I guess there is no shame in that. I will have to look at his box rec.
