My brother has been facing obesity problems for over 2 years. Even after multiple visit to various specialist we never understand what was happening with his body. Because of this video, we checked his cortisol levels and found out that it is 5 times the normal range. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE VIDEO. Hopefully an endocrinologist will be able to help us out. Once again thanks a lot

I was under high levels of stress for 15 years, working night shifts the whole time with a family. If I could get 4 hours of sleep a night that was a good sleep, even though I might get woken up 2 or 3 times in that 4 hours. I honestly was so stressed I couldn't sleep and any little startle or inconvenience would make my kidneys and lower back ache and pulsate like a toothache. Now, my life is the complete opposite. I work days, have little to no work stress, kids have gotten older and are pretty independent now and I feel constantly exhausted 😆. We thought maybe it would take a year to get back to normal it's been over 2 and my energy levels are still quite low. Need to try and get my body to not run on stress, cortisol, caffeine and anger lol.

And today someone mentioned the Cushing Syndrome and it was scary accurate. Scary. Period. Thank you for this video that helped me a lot to helped me to be better informed and reassured me (a little). Be insistent on your health, be patient and last but not least, be kind to yourself 💖

@@Iachaullaw 🆘 EMERGENCY 🆘 I have not small sale, lung cancer , I was 159 pounds now weigh 129 pounds I was on immunotherapy called KETRUDA , it is attacking my adrenal gland and my upper kidney.. during the pet scan it’s lighting up. It has some kind of light on it… my symptoms are I cannot go to sleep cannot… my body is tightening up. I’m very thirsty and I can’t get enough to drink.. I felt better with the salt water. My kidneys hurt. Very bad now.. I have headaches. sometimes stomachache the runs I go poo a lot and I have no hair on my private area anymore under my armpits and no eyelashes I’m so weak and then I was on 2.5 mg of, prednisone now I’m on 5 mg. I’m still taking the potassium and they started me on thyroid medicine. I’ve been on the thyroid medicine for whole week and no change in anyway they stopped the immunotherapy treatments which was working. My cancer was almost all done all erase we didn’t do anything for it for months, and then it went into the upper, both upper lobes of the lung left lobe lung and both of the lower lobe lung so now I’m doing radiation and doctor say the radiation does not hurt, but it does and you could feel them taken out the cancer if they took my prednisone away I would be dead I went into some kind of emergency thing where I had to have water. My sugar level is at 50 I’m weak, without my prednisone I cannot walk I’m so sick that I think that I am going to stop the treatments and just die. The kids are hurts very very bad. The doctor told me that you cannot feel cancer because there’s no sales or anything but once it gets in your muscles, you really can fill it, I’m so weak and then sometimes I sweat sometimes I’m very cold. Sometimes I’m very mad and sometimes are really sad and I cry for absolutely no reason I’m very hyper hyper sensitive. I wanted to tell you what I was going through so that nobody else would go through it, and if you have lung cancer, let me tell you in so much pain. It feels just like somebody kicked you. It’s it feels like somebody beat. You literally beat you and kicked you. I’ve lost a lot of weight my stomach I cannot see close up or medium anymore but I can still see far awayI think that’s the only symptoms that I have I crave salt and I can’t get enough. The pickle juice helps salty pickle juice. I highly recommend that because it will make you feel a lot better. I’m up all night most of the day and then I crash I go into the deepest, deepest sleep where I don’t dream. I hope you can help us.

Highly unprofessional to say that you were attention seeking when you were clearly suffering. I attended a first aid course once and the trained professional was asked about panic attacks and she said that it was basically attention seeking. I was getting panic attacks regularly but far from seeking attention, I hid it away, feeling shame and fear. Nowadays, thankfully, we know far more. Health professionals should be better trained in what they say.

I don't let fear take a hold of me. I hang on tightly to hope that there is a 80% cure rate. Right now I am excited and nervous to face the truth. I have been suffering from this for at least 10 years and it has taken that long to get this close to hopes of remission.

Thanks for the feedback! We agree there is a lot more to this topic. We generally try to keep our videos as concise as possible, so we had to make a few judgment calls with this one.

My doctor scheduled me for a dexamethasone injection (because I have high cortisol & high acth). Thanks for providing information in a easy to digest manner, I find learning more reduces my anxiety.

Excellent and in-depth presentation, thank you. My wife has some of these symptoms which has plagued her for years, for which she has recently sought medical attention, but so far no doctor has ever suggested Cushing Syndrome. Recently, she had a ton of diagnostic tests performed via blood, urine, etc, and I will research the tests that target her cortisol levels to see if C.S. is a suspect. Thanks again for such an informative, though highly technical presentation! : )
