Rick takes a trip to one of his favorite riding spots of all time: Custer State Park. It's South Dakota's first and largest state park and named after THE General George Armstrong Custer. You know the one!
Not too far from Sturgis, South Dakota, Rick likes to start in the quaint, historic mining town of Keystone and make his way toward Mount Rushmore, which is a one-of-a-kind experience. From Needles Highway to Iron Mountain Road, Custer State Park pretty much as it all. Hills, valleys and forests. Twists and turns around impressive rock formations. Narrow tunnels built into the mountains and hairpin switchbacks. Winding pigtail bridges and past presidents chiseled out of stone.
Join WingStuff owner, Rick Arnoldo, as he rides some of the best roads that our country has to offer in our series, Rick's Rides. Some renowned and others a bit more obscure, they will be roads that remove you from the hectic pace of city life and move you on an adventure! In each episode, Rick will reflect on the ride and give the viewer an up close look at what the road has to offer.
